At the Wisdom 2.0 conference in 2013, Founder Soren Gordhamer, asked his friend and colleague Paul Zelizer to vision, facilitate and lead a breakout session focused on integrating wisdom and entrepreneurship.

The energy from that session was powerful. Paul, an entrepreneur himself and already an established coach and mentor to other wisdom-based entrepreneurs, responded by forming Wisdompreneurs along with Co-Founder Alison Raby. Together, with trusted advisors, they embarked on a journey; one which both supported an expanding community and a growing movement.

Wisdompreneurs has a twofold, highly pragmatic mission: To help wisdom-based practitioners succeed in business, and to help entrepreneurs incorporate wisdom practices into their lives and their organizations.

Wisdompreneurs is also part of a larger vision: to contribute to a wiser and more just economic system; to shift the criteria for “success” worldwide so that we include our own well-being, our capacity to connect with ourselves, to give back to others, and to bring joy into our lives.

Wisdompreneurs has grown from a team of two to an incredible and widely diverse group of thirty eight dedicated individuals. Hosts a dynamic, global online community with over 11,000 members.

Builds crowd sourced platforms that provide information to individuals and organizations; assisting them in finding, creating, and maintaining meaningful livelihoods.

Creates and disseminates programs and fosters new initiatives. Convenes events and retreats, offers services that provide training, networking, real-time educational resources, best practices, ways to connect, or simply play with like minded professionals across the globe.

Has developed a robust membership directory and private forum, hosts WPTV, facilitates our Leave A Trace Program and our L I F T initiative.

Includes our thriving sister company: Wisdompreneurs Publishing led by best-selling author Sasha Allenby. Will release our first book, The Wise Entrepreneur which will hit the shelves in February 2016.

reated Circle of Circles: A program fostering support for community members’ business endeavors.

Is fiercely committed to diversity and inclusion.

Wisdompreneurs continues to expand rapidly yet mindfully. While this growth is exciting, even more touching is the quality of our conversations; shared successes, failures, the reality of caring for ourselves in the midst of running or ramping a sustainable business, tips and resources that allow us to leverage collective intelligence, spontaneous collaborations... the movement grows with the community and the unfolding continues.

It is possible that the next Buddha will not take the form of an individual. The next Buddha may take the form of a community, a community practicing lovingkindness, a community practicing mindful living. This may be the most important thing we can do for the survival of the Earth.
